Once Upon a Time In Harlem

In 1972, filmmaker William Greaves hosted and filmed a party for the living luminaries of the Harlem Renaissance to reminisce and debate, all while wrestling with their place in a shifting cultural landscape. Fifty years later, Greaves' son David completed the film to explore how culture is passed on through generations and the legacy of this extraordinary creative period.
