Henry McBride is a down and out cowboy with a dark past who is forced to take a last resort job on a dude ranch where he must train a troubled mustang. McBride quickly finds that he and the horse share a wild kindred spirit with one another. The two quickly form an unbreakable bond. Through their time together, both the mustang and McBride learn to help one another heal from their darkest wounds and move towards redemption.
