Sameer Malhotra and Roma fall in love and plan to marry, despite opposition from Sameer's wealthy father and Roma's brothers. After winning her brothers' support, tragedy strikes when a ship owned by Sameer's father sinks, killing people from Roma's hometown and creating a major conflict between the families.
