Pyar Ki Kahani is an unconventional tale of love that follows the journey of Ram a well-qualified young man working as a peon, who must find a bride for himself now that his best friend Ravi is happily married. He visits his parents where he meets his bride-to-be, Kusum. Attracted to her, he first decides to get the approval of Ravi and his wife Lata before moving ahead with the proposal.
