Reset
Reset is a near-future dystopian drama set in a society governed by total digital control. Every citizen’s rights, from work and mobility, to parenthood, are regulated through a centralized Citizen Pass. When Sonja, a devoted mother, suddenly loses access to hers, she is branded a potential threat by the system. Believing the failure to be a correctable error, Sonja travels to Warsaw to restore her legal status and protect her daughter’s future. Instead, her attempts to reclaim her rights trigger a formal state investigation. As officials examine her history and personal relationships, Sonja realizes the system is not malfunctioning, it is doing exactly what it was designed to do. As surveillance tightens and her past is scrutinized, Sonja is pushed beyond the boundaries of digital legitimacy. Forced to operate outside a society that no longer recognizes her, she must decide how far she is willing to go to protect her child and preserve the life they share. An intimate, character-driven dystopian drama, RESET explores love, identity and resistance in a world where conformity is rewarded and difference is quietly erased. Grounded in emotional realism and contemporary fears around surveillance and control, the film positions love itself as the most radical act of defiance.
