She’s Making a List

Falling on Santa’s Naughty or Nice list used to be an impulse call made by Santa himself. But with the number of kids worldwide skyrocketing, Santa has outsourced the job to the Naughty or Nice Group, a consulting firm that has cornered the market on determining a child’s niceness thanks to an airtight scientific formula. As a top inspector with the group, it’s Isabel's job to make the tough calls, by observing the children on her list and assigning a verdict. But when she’s assigned to Charlie, a 9-year old girl acting out following the loss of her mother, Isabel finds the formula she’s been tasked with enforcing leaves some of the most deserving children behind. Suddenly, Isabel finds herself breaking all the rules she’s long upheld, by building a friendship with Charlie and falling in love with her father, Jason. After Isabel and Jason’s relationship is discovered at work and leads to Charlie’s label of naughty, Isabel confronts her boss, Rudolph, about the archaic process of judging children, and quits. Isabel, Jason and Charlie go to find Santa and save Charlie- and every child’s-Christmas. Santa fires Rudolph and brings Isabel on to help guide kids towards being nice, so everyone gets presents going forward.
