Slabs

SLABS is a Drama/Action short film about two best friends Alex (Champion Black) and Truvon (Drew Downy) who decide to put their last coins together to make a money to keep life going. Alex is dealing with a crazy baby mama who sucks him for cash and Truvon has Carli(Regina Williams)as his girlfriend as she tags along with him everywhere begging for a pickle sausage. James Da Plug (Leroy Conner) decides to pay Alex and Truvon back for his uncle bailing him out when he was broke back in the days. Truvon battles with greed and starts to hustle around the town in neighborhoods that he does not belong in. Robert Jr. the Gangbanger (Wendell Davis) finds out and tells the local big drug dealer Dope Boy Villain (Jimmy Anderson). As Alex continue to hustle to achieve his goal. Truvon and Carli are grinding away. Dope Boy Villain tells Robert Jr. the Gangbanger to set Truvon up so he can deal with him hustling on the wrong turf. Will Alex and Truvon succeed in making a quick buck on the block or will their plans to make quick cash get ruins?
