Solo Sunny

Sunny is a frontwoman of a mediocre pop band, playing to uninspiring audiences in small towns. She feels vaguely unfulfilled, and begins a romance with a philosopher-saxophonist, who has an obsession with death. After quarreling with a bandmate, she finds herself thrown out of the group.
