In the middle of WWII, Antonio,who has just gotten married, is dispatched to the Russian front...As his comrades fall one by one, Masha, a local girl, saves him. Time passes, and Antonio's wife, Giovanna, leaves for Moscow to searches for her husband. When she arrives at Antonio's home,she finds that he had married Masha and had a family.
