The Final Play

The Final Play is a heartfelt and comedic indie feature following retired pro basketball player Breylon McNeil, played by Jeremy Pargo, who also writes and executive produces. Inspired by Pargo’s life, the film explores resilience, love, and self-discovery as Breylon navigates life beyond the court. Facing his fears and redefining success, he learns that true victory means embracing vulnerability. The Final Play authentically celebrates black men, their aspirations, and breaking stereotypes.
