Necessity is the mother of invention in this funny little film from China. Chen Guilin is a factory worker who has lost his job and his wife, and if he wants to keep his kid he must provide her with a piano per the terms of the divorce. The only problem is Chen has no money for a piano. Afraid of losing his daughter, Chen decides to build a piano out of steel with the aid of his friends from the factory. Built with love, this may prove to be the one instrument capable of keeping Chen's daughter in his life.
