Young attorney Bob Regan accepts a lucrative job protecting wealthy businessman Andrew Colby, who claims a former associate, Leopold Kroner, has threatened his life after being released from prison. However, Regan soon becomes the fall guy for murder and uncovers a scheme that pulls him deeper into a web of deception and hidden motives.
