As America wages war in Korea, Elizabeth Leroy (Amy Grabow) yearns to escape her predictable life and pursue a career -- a bold path for a young woman in early 1950s small-town America. But Elizabeth's plans take a detour when she meets and falls in love with Three Rivers' new handsome, dedicated minister, Ben Phillips (Brad Rowe).
