Trumpet on the Cliff

Aoi (Nanami Sakuraba), a photography student in Tokyo, faces a life-altering heart transplant that forces her to abandon her dreams and recover in Okinawa with her uncle. While exploring the island with her camera, she encounters Ji Oh (Byung Hun), a young man who cherishes a trumpet inherited from his parents. As they navigate their personal struggles, Aoi and Ji Oh form an unexpected connection, supporting each other through life's challenges and finding hope in their shared resilience. Their journey becomes a testament to healing, friendship, and the power of second chances. This is a 2016 South Korean-Japanese co-production film written and directed by Han Sang Hee.
