Forest Killer

The minimalist crime drama follows the last year of the life of one of the most famous Czech serial killers, Viktor Kalivoda. In 2005, he murdered three bystanders in the forest. The Forest Killer, as he is nicknamed, worked as a policeman, won the "Want to be a Millionaire" competition and had an above-average IQ. The case received a lot of attention not only because he planned to shoot up the Prague subway, but also because he never fully disclosed his motive. Can we ever understand what was going on in his head? The film is based on real events.
