The Kettles on Old MacDonald's Farm

Lumberjack Brad Johnson wants to marry the boss's daughter Sally Flemming, but her father won't hear of it—not because he dislikes Brad, but because he doubts Sally has the grit for farm life. When the couple takes refuge on the old Kettle farm, Ma proposes a trial: Sally stays on the farm and proves herself, while Brad wins the money they need at the logging camp rodeo.
