Why Me?

Kent Cheng (The Diary Of A Big Man, Once Upon A Time In China) writes, directs, and stars as Fat Cat, an intellectually disabled man subjected to the casual cruelties of his village. When a compassionate social worker (Olivia Cheng, A Family Affair, Millionaires’ Express) and her steadfast boyfriend (Chow Yun-fat, Hard Boiled, Once A Thief) fight to give him a better life, the film builds to a shattering final act that few Hong Kong comedies of its era dared attempt. Cheng's performance won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor.
