Four couples meet to begin the competition: a treasure hunt around Auckland.

Over the next twelve weeks, four new teams will tackle the most ambitious block project ever and transform a charming 1930's Georgian firehouse into a multimillion-dollar apartment.

after twelve weeks of hard graft, sweat and renovation our Blockheads have created extraordinary homes. Who will walk away with the highest profit and take home the $100,000 prize?

The couples uncover the nasty and, in some cases, nightmarish conditions in their houses.

The last week of the Block NZ comes to an end, the teams have worked their way through the Judge's lists of corrections, and they put the finishing touches on the Firehouse for auction day.

It's Friday on the Block, and with an earlier time of 10am for final tools down tomorrow, the teams are running out of hours to give their least favouriterooms the do-over they deserve.
