The new Queen Morgana begins a reign of terrible evil over the innocent citizens of Camelot. With Morgause's immortal army at her command it seems there is no hope for Uther, who must watch his Kingdom crumble under the unimaginable cruelty of his own daughter. Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Camelot, Arthur regains his strength and, with Gwaine, Lancelot, Elyan and Percival at his side, plans a brave counter attack. With one of them certain to die at Cenreds hand, who will Gwen choose? The love of her life or her only sibling? Loyalties are tested to the limit and friendships are thrown to the fore as Arthur, Merlin and Gwen work together to try and find a way out of the situation. But with Morgana and Morgause doing all that they can to scupper the threesomes plan, can good conquer evil or will Gwen lose another of those she loves?
