Losing Streak
A down-on-his-luck musician runs into trouble with hoodlums when he acciden-tally takes $2,000 in new and no longer circulated counterfeit bills in "Losing Streak." In an attempt to obtain money owed him by a nightclub owner, Vic Rankin breaks into the club's office and takes the $2,000, not knowing the bills are bogus. When the loss is discovered, the hoodlums set out to find and kill Rankin before he can spend the money, which would then alert police of its existence. Starsky and Hutch, learning of the phony money and theft, race to find Rankin first for information which could lead them to the counter-feiters.
