Alison Krauss

Grammy-winning Alison Krauss was an exceptionally talented musician. She had a part on the television special "Country Music Hall of Fame 25" (CBS, 1991-92). Krauss worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Austin City Limits" (PBS, 1974-2015). Krauss also lent her voice to various characters in "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1989-). In the nineties, Krauss's music mostly appeared in films like the Kevin Spacey crime feature "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (1997), "The Other Sister" (1999) and "The Castle" (1999). Krauss's music was most recently featured in "Sicario" (2015) with Emily Blunt. In the early 2000s, Krauss lent her talents to projects like "Down From the Mountain" with Emmylou Harris (2001), "Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights" (2002) starring Adam Sandler and "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" (2002). Her credits also expanded to "Our Country" (2002) and "Mona Lisa Smile" with Julia Roberts (2003). Krauss won a Best Country Collaboration With Vocals Grammy Award in 1996.
