Mitch and Cam plan a nice evening with the whole family to break the happy news that they're looking to adopt another child. However their parade is rained on when they realize Lily may not take well to another baby in the house. Meanwhile, Claire and Jay are each consumed with proving a certain point.

Charlie is thrilled that he's dating Isabella (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe - "Nash Bridges"), a wild, sexually uninhibited woman--until Alan points out that she's a spooky Satan worshiper. Charlie is unfazed by Alan's warnings until Isabella threatens to put a curse on his manhood.

After the stabbing death of a woman who was apparently killed by someone wearing a Ninja outfit, Brenda and the squad soon realize they might have a bigger case on their hands than they thought. A detective from El Paso, Texas (guest star XANDER BERKELEY - "24"), where a similar crime occurred, comes to Los Angeles to help in the investigation, but his primary interest is in bringing the killer back to Texas to face the death penalty. Meanwhile, Brenda's father, Clay (recurring guest star BARRY CORBIN), arrives to take her niece, Charlie (recurring guest star SOSIE BACON), home to Atlanta. KEVIN BACON directs the episode.

Bait and Switch - Mike (Justin Bruening) jumps into the thick of a bank heist and tries to stop it, but instead becomes one of the robbers’ hostages. Oddly, the robbers do not seem interested in the bank’s money. Apparently, they have a specific plan that includes the safe deposit boxes and the husband of one of their hostages. Unable to communicate with KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) and his team, Mike tries to enlist the help of the other hostages to stop the robbers from escaping. Unfortunately, one of the so-called hostages is one of the robbers, which makes Mike'’s job even more difficult. Deanna Russo, Paul Campbell and Smith Cho star.
