The Compass
The situation looks bleak for a small troop of young American soldiers, as men are killed one by one, by the Germans who are quickly closing in on them. The soldiers, feeling that it's only a matter of time, decide to write goodbye letters to their loved ones back home -- all except Joe, an angry, heartless young soldier who claims to have no one and doesn't care for the sentimentalities shown by his comrades.
