Angie Martinez
Angie Martinez's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of her Hollywood career. Martinez's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the Tyra Banks comedy "A Woman Like That" (1997) and "Personals" (1999) with Malik Yoba. Martinez also contributed music to the action flick "Nothing to Lose" (1997) with Martin Lawrence. She kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in "The 24 Hour Woman" (1999) and the romantic comedy "Brown Sugar" (2002) with Taye Diggs. She also appeared in the TV special "MTV Cribs Presents: How to Live Large" (MTV, 2000-01). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Martinez lent her talents to projects like "Chappelle's Show" (Comedy Central, 2002-06), "State Property 2" with Damon Dash (2005) and "Love & Hip Hop" (VH1, 2010-15). Most recently, Martinez appeared in "This is HOT 97" (VH1, 2013-14).
