When Orpheus (Matthew Chamberlain) loses the power to subdue the god Bacchus (Anthony Ray Parker) with his music, Xena and Gabrielle (Lucy Lawless, Renee O'Connor) risk their lives to end Bacchus' reign of terror.

Xena (Lucy Lawless) and her former enemy Boadicea (Jennifer Ward-Lealand) join forces to battle Caesar (Karl Urban); Gabrielle (Renee O'Connor) must fight for her own life against evil spirit worshippers.

Even the warlord Draco becomes a comedic victim of Cupid's son, Bliss (Cameron Russel), when the mischievous boy creates unlikely romantic pairings among Xena, Gabrielle, Joxer and Draco (Lucy Lawless, Renee O'Connor, Ted Raimi, Jay Laga'aia).
