With the city's food supply dwindling the Stargate Atlantis team must search for an alternate food source. The team begins negotiation with a simple group of farmers known as the Genii. Untrusting of outsiders the Genii are hesitant to any sort of trading--until Major Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) demonstrates the team's advanced weaponry. A deal is struck to exchange food for explosives. But upon returning to the Genii village to make the exchange they stumble upon technology that leads them to believe the Genii are not at all what they seem.

When Mary's uncle, the Duke of Guise (guest star Gil Darnell), arrives in France with devastating news about her mother, Mary and Francis realize they are torn between putting their own countries first or saving their marriage. With the English throne in jeopardy, King Henry hatches an elaborate plan that will end in disaster. Meanwhile, Bash and Kenna solidify their marriage and begin to trust one another. Megan Follows, Alan Van Sprang, Torrance Coombs, Celina Sinden, Anna Popplewell and Caitlin Stasey also star.

The eighth season premiere takes place a few weeks after the Fortress' icy collapse, as a LuthorCorp arctic excavation team investigates Lex's whereabouts. The Justice League, led by the Green Arrow (series star JUSTIN HARTLEY), hits the Arctic in search of Clark, who disappeared after the collapse. The team immediately has a confrontation with the new CEO of LuthorCorp, Tess Mercer (series star CASSIDY FREEMAN). Meanwhile, Chloe is being held prisoner by a suspicious group who has discovered she has a new power, and Clark has been stripped of his powers by Jor-El. Series star ERICA DURANCE appears as Lois Lane.
