Arjun Gupta was an American actor best known for his recurring roles on "Nurse Jackie" (Showtime, 2009-2015) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (ABC, 2014-). Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Gupta always wanted to perform for others. This burning desire eventually led him to New York City, where he began auditioning for film and TV roles. Then in 2009, Gupta landed his breakout role on Showtime's dark comedy, "Nurse Jackie." Gupta played the role of Sam on three seasons of the show, and picked up a SAG Award, along with the rest of the cast, for his performance. After his time on "Nurse Jackie" ended, Gupta continued acting steadily, landing roles on the films "Stand Up Guys" (2012) and "HairBrained" (2013), as well as small part on Ben Stiller's scripted web-series "Next Time On Lonny" (2014).
