Art Bell
Arthur William Bell III , born, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, was a pioneering radio broadcaster best known for creating and hosting the paranormal-themed talk show "Coast to Coast AM" (Premier Networks, 1988-). Bell's fascination with the unexplained led him to become a leading figure in late-night radio, where he discussed topics ranging from UFOs to conspiracy theories, captivating millions of listeners. Over the years, he became a cultural icon for his unique style of broadcasting, hosting other programs like "Midnight in the Desert" (2015). Bell also made guest appearances on shows like "Millenium" (Fox, 1996-1999) and "I Know Who Killed Me" (2007). He authored several books, and his work inspired a generation of broadcasters. Bell retired several times but always returned due to popular demand. He passed away on April 13, 2018, at the age of 72.
