Barry Barnes
Barry Barnes has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Barnes began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Liam Neeson historical love story "Michael Collins" (1996) and the dramatic adaptation "Moll Flanders" (1996) with Robin Wright. He had an early role on the television special "Painted Lady" (PBS, 1997-98). He also was featured in the miniseries "The Hanging Gale" (1998-99). He then appeared in the Gerard McSorley crime feature "Ordinary Decent Criminal" (2000), the action film "Reign of Fire" (2002) with Christian Bale and the Cate Blanchett biographical drama "Veronica Guerin" (2003). He also appeared in the Colm Meaney dramatic adaptation "Kings" (2007). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the thriller "The Daisy Chain" (2010) with Samantha Morton, the dramatic adaptation "Shadow Dancer" (2013) with Clive Owen and "JIMI: All Is By My Side" (2014) with Andre Benjamin. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Titanic: Blood and Steel" (2012-13). Most recently, Barnes acted in "'71" (2015).
