Beau Gravitte

Patty Branson (Abigail Breslin), 6, is attacked at the park while her father reads the paper. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) believe a teenage boy attempted to molest her, but it turns out the boy (who's really a young man), and a middle-aged man, were following her. The pair are P.I.'s and they'd been hired by Michele Osborne (Lea Thompson) to kidnap Patty, who claims she is her daughter. Michele's story is strange - she said her husband took her daughter (who she named Anna) on a car trip, and was snatched from a rest stop. He subsequently died in a car accident. Sarah (Camilla Scott) and Matt Branson (Beau Gravitte) are horrified by the whole situation, claiming Patty is their daughter.

When ADA Cabot (Stephanie March) is faced with a reluctant witness (guest star Bret Harrison) in a child molestation case, she goes above and beyond the normal scope of duty in her search for evidence to convict the serial abuser (guest star Beau Gravitte). But her passion supercedes her compliance with the law as she misrepresents herself to Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) to bring them into an illegal search of the traumatized boy's home -- jeopardizing not only her case, but the careers of all involved.

Alicia and Will have 72 hours to prove that a train company, and not the engineers, is responsible for a freight train crash, and secure the widows their husbands' pensions. Also, Jackie and Alicia clash over taking the children to visit their father in prison.

Amidst the corridors of Community General Hospital, the hit t.v. show "The New Healers" is shooting their next episode. When the director yells, "Cut" the scene's finished and so is the show's leading star who's been mysteriously murdered. Looks like Dr. Sloan will have to 'set the stage' to get to the bottom of this case.

Richard (Malcolm Gets) sets Caroline (Lea Thompson) up on a date with a married man (guest star Beau Gravitte).
