Billy Daniels

Billy Daniels found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Daniels worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including"Brazil" (1944), "Duffy's Tavern" (1945) and "Frenchman's Creek" with Joan Fontaine (1944). He also contributed to "Lady in the Dark" (1944) starring Ginger Rogers and "The Three Caballeros" (1944). His film career continued throughout the forties and the fifties in productions like the musical comedy "Masquerade in Mexico" (1946) with Dorothy Lamour, "My Blue Heaven" (1950) with Betty Grable and "Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder" (1952). He also appeared in the Dick Haymes musical comedy "Cruisin' Down the River" (1953). Daniels had a number of different projects under his belt in the fifties through the eighties, including "Night of the Quarter Moon" with Julie London (1959), "The Beat Generation" (1959) and "Cotton Club '75" (NBC, 1974-75). His credits also expanded to "Target" (1985) starring Gene Hackman. Daniels more recently appeared in "53rd Annual King Orange Jamboree Parade" (NBC, 1986-87). Daniels passed away in October 1988 at the age of 73.
