Bob Sherman

Bob Sherman's acting career took off when he was just 15 years old. Sherman kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the war "Battle Taxi" (1955) with Sterling Hayden, the Ralph Meeker mystery "Kiss Me Deadly" (1955) and the dramatic adaptation "The Big Knife" (1955) with Jack Palance. He also appeared in the Joan Crawford drama "Autumn Leaves" (1956), the musical "Calypso Joe" (1957) with Herb Jeffries and "Kiss Them For Me" (1957) with Cary Grant. He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in "Who Dares Wins" (1982) with Lewis Collins, the Andrew Keir drama "Haunters of the Deep" (1984) and the adventure "Sheena" (1984) with Tanya Roberts. He also appeared in "A State of Emergency" (1986). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "Spy Games" (2000), "The Big Tease" (2000) and the Ron Perlman action flick "Hellboy" (2004). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Space Precinct" (1994-95). Sherman most recently acted in the Ewan McGregor sci-fi motion picture "The Island" (2005).
