Abraham Stoker, popularly known as Bram Stoker, was an Irish author who wrote the 1897 Gothic horror novel Dracula. The book is widely considered a milestone in Vampire fiction, and one of the most famous works of English literature. The character of Count Dracula ranks among the most iconic fictional figures of the entire Victorian era, and led to countless adaptations of the character for films, movies, plays, comics, and stage performances.
