Leslie (Amy Poehler) works to get rid of outdated laws from the original town charter that no longer make sense. Chris (Rob Lowe) gives April (Aubrey Plaza) and Ron (Nick Offerman) management training, while Ann (Rashida Jones) and Ben (Adam Scott) get in a bidding war over a present for Leslie.

On instructions from his boss, Mr. O, Spencer Campbell offers Malcolm and Eddie protection from anything untoward happening to the Fifty-Fifty Club. The two partners beef up their own security after sending Spencer away.
