Trail boss Gil Favor and his ramrod Rowdy Yates find themselves, their crew and their cattle drive the target of a vicious gang of bandits who make the plains their stalking ground. Gil and Rowdy are faced with the double problem of countering an expected bloody attack by the outlaws and holding together their panicked crew.
