Carl Edwards

Carl Michael Edwards Jr. is an American former professional stock car racing driver and a current analyst for NASCAR on Prime Video. He last competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 19 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. Prior to that, he drove the No. 99 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing from 2005-2015. He won the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series championship and nearly won the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title, but lost by a tiebreaker to Tony Stewart. Edwards is known for doing a backflip off his car to celebrate his victories. In 2023, he was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers, and in 2025, he was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Severide (Taylor Kinney) takes offense to being treated like a candidate by Captain Patterson (guest star Brian White) by undermining him during a call, and the situation reaches a boiling point. Cruz (Joe Minoso) receives a surprise visit from his past when Freddie (guest star Ralph Rodriguez), a gangbanger who knows Cruz's brother Leon, comes to visit and ask for a favor. Elsewhere, the team is called to a harrowing scene of an 18-wheeler and receive a thanks in the form of tickets to see the band Rush, much to Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Herrmann's (David Eigenberg) delight.

Meanwhile, Callie reconsiders entering the Witness Protection Program after Ray is brutally attacked in front of Jeff. David Danello, Cameron Protzman and Taylor Handley guest star. NASCAR drivers Carl Edwards, Joey Logano, Tony Stewart and Brian Vickers all appear as themselves in this episode.

Then it's off to a grueling kettle bell beach challenge that promises the winning player a hefty prize. Fan favorite and former "Biggest Loser" contestant Abby Rike pays a visit to the ranch and inspires the players with her own "Second Chance" story. Later, the contestants head to the race track for words of encouragement and a fun workout with popular NASCAR driver Carl Edwards. Then one player reaches "One-derland" at the weigh-in and another is sent home before host Alison Sweeney gives the remaining contestants some very exciting news.
