In the landmark 100th episode of the series, Clark reveals his secret to Lana. Jonathan and Lex learn the results of the senatorial election. And after a tragic car accident on the highway takes the life of someone he loves, Clark desperately returns to the Fortress of Solitude and begs Jor-El (voiced by Terence Stamp) for help.

The two police officers who witnessed the spaceship landing during the meteor shower take Lex and Lana hostage and threaten to kill them unless Lex reveals where he hid the spaceship. While escaping to a "panic room" in the mansion, Lex is hit by a bullet meant for Lana. Fearing Lex may bleed to death, Lana asks him to tell the officers the secret location, but he confesses the ship has been missing for weeks. Meanwhile, Clark discovers that Lana has been researching the spaceship with Lex and fears she is close to discovering his secret.

After escaping from the Phantom Zone, Raya comes to Smallville to visit Clark. Raya and Clark grow close, and Raya reveals how to repair the Fortress of Solitude. Unfortunately, Baern, another escapee seeks out revenge on Clark and Raya for his time spent in the Zone.

Chloe Sullivan returns. Clark, Oliver, Lois and Dinah are released by the VRA after being captured at Hawkman's funeral but each of them has flashbacks of Chloe holding them against their will. When Chloe returns, Dinah warns the others that Chloe may now be a traitor. Oliver dismisses her concerns, but Clark is unsure if he can trust Chloe after she disappeared without an explanation.
