Coach Ernie's return is a widely celebrated, but with much hanging on the line, the players' personal issues start bubbling to the surface.

The players' unpredictable yet hilarious antics continue when the group tries to make sense of their new roles as players within the Dodds Corporation ownership of the beloved franchise. Mad Dog gets caught in a series of lies, Joe comes into harsh proximity with one of the new owners and his classist prejudices, and a prank involving a rookie and a live bull goes awry.
