Connee Boswell

Actress-musician Connee Boswell made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen for over fifty years. Boswell's career beginnings included film roles in "Artists and Models" (1937) with Jack Benny and "It's All Yours" (1937). She then acted in "Syncopation" (1942), "Hollywood Star Revue" (ABC, 1948-49) and "Senior Prom" (1959) with Howard Miller. Boswell's music was most recently featured in "American Cinema" (PBS, 1994-95). Boswell passed away in October 1976 at the age of 69.
