Cynthia Sikes

Cynthia Sikes was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. At the start of her acting career, Sikes appeared in dramatic series like "Flamingo Road" (NBC, 1980-82) and "St. Elsewhere" (NBC, 1982-88). She had an early role on the television special "Battle of the Network Stars XIV" (ABC, 1982-83). She also was featured in the miniseries "Captains and the Kings" (1976-77). In the early stages of her Hollywood career, Sikes held acting roles in films like the drama "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains" (1982) with Diane Lane. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "His Mistress" (NBC, 1984-85). More recently, she earned a role in the Burt Reynolds remake "The Man Who Loved Women" (1983). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Battle of the Network Stars XV" (ABC, 1983-84) and "Poor Richard" (CBS, 1983-84). Sikes took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "Arthur 2 On The Rocks" (1988) with Dudley Moore and the Mac Davis dramatic adventure "Possums" (1998). She held additional roles in television including a part on "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994). She also was featured in the TV movie "Oceans of Fire" (CBS, 1986-87). Most recently, Sikes acted in the romance "Going Shopping" (2005) with Victoria Foyt.
