Danielle Bisutti

Born in Los Angeles at the tail end of the '70s, Bisutti spent as much time on set as she did at home. Her father Richard worked as a set decorator (he introduced her to "Child's Play" creator Don Mancini when she was just a child) and she counted producer Anthony Thomopolous and actress Cristina Ferrare among close family members. After graduating from Cal State Fullerton, Bisutti pursued a musical career while appeared in numerous plays in L.A., New York City and Chicago. After transitioning to film and TV she racked up minor gigs on the soap opera parody "Strip Mall" and the little-seen thriller "Tropix," before graduating to supporting roles on primetime like "The O.C." (Fox, 2003-07) and "Without a Trace" (CBS, 2002-09). From 2008 to 2011 she portrayed the jealous but ultimately supportive Amanda Cantwell on "True Jackson, VP," about a stylish teen (Keke Palmer) who suddenly finds herself a high-powered fashion executive. Bisutti's steady stream of one-off appearances kept her profile up, and in 2013 she was cast in "Curse of Chucky" as an unsympathetic sister of one of Chucky's victims, and as a ghostly matriarch in the supernatural horror hit "Insidious: Chapter 2."
