David A. Goodman

David Goodman is an American television writer and producer best known for his involvement in the hit animated series "Family Guy." Goodman began writing for TV in the late 1980s, penning episodes of "The Golden Girls" and the short-lived comedy "Flying Blind," both of which he also briefly produced. After writing installments of the sitcoms "Wings" and "Dream On," he signed on '97's "Team Knight Rider," a reboot of the '80s show, and started writing and producing for '99's "Stark Raving Mad." In 2002, Goodman became involved in the Matt Groening sci-fi cartoon series "Futurama," primarily as an executive producer, and he also worked as a writer and producer on "Star Trek: Enterprise." Contributing to the satirical animated show "Family Guy" as an executive producer, Goodman was involved in the 2005 revival of the series, and he has also written and lent his voice to numerous episodes of the popular program.
