Princess Alexandra of Romania heads a procession at the NATO Headquarters alongside her friend Vartin Kepes when a shot rings out and her bodyguard falls down dead. When the King and Princess Alexandra visit Washington DC, they receive threats that Alexandra will be assassinated unless the King steps down. Harm tries to keep her safe until the threat is contained.
