Debby Boone

Deborah Boone was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Boone worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Battle of the Network Stars IV" (ABC, 1977-78), "Battle of the Network Stars V" (ABC, 1978-79) and "Matilda" with Elliott Gould (1978). She also contributed to "Pat Boone and Family" (ABC, 1977-78), "Perry Como's Easter By the Sea" (ABC, 1977-78) and "The Magic of Lassie" (1978). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "A Country Christmas" (1980-81), "Opryland: Night of Stars and Future Stars" (NBC, 1980-81) and "Bob Hope Special: Bob Hope Presents a Celebration With Stars of Comedy and Music" (NBC, 1981-82). She also appeared in "Perry Como's French-Canadian Christmas" (ABC, 1981-82). Boone focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "Treehouse Hostage" (1999) with Jim Varney and the Kevin Costner action flick "The Guardian" (2006). Boone's music was most recently featured in the Shia LaBeouf hit action film "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" (2011). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Baywatch Nights" (1995-97). She also lent her distinctive voice to "The Kingdom Chums: Original Top Ten" (ABC, 1991-92).
