Deborah Geffner

Deborah Geffner was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Geffner began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the adaptation "All That Jazz" (1979) with Roy Scheider, the biopic drama "Star 80" (1983) with Mariel Hemingway and "Exterminator 2" (1984) with Robert Ginty. She also appeared in the musical comedy "Bert Rigby, You're a Fool" (1989) with Robert Lindsay. She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Legs" (ABC, 1982-83) and "Murder 1, Dancer 0" (NBC, 1982-83). In the nineties and the early 2000s, she acted in "ER" (1994-2009), "Monk" (USA, 2001-09) and "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010). She also appeared in "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). She also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the Holly Hunter dramatic adaptation "Living Out Loud" (1998) and the Carmine Appice comedy "Chasing Destiny" (2001). In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "Medical Investigation" (2004-05), "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "Mad Men" (AMC, 2006-2014). She also appeared in "The Nine" (ABC, 2006-07) and "The Forgotten" (ABC, 2009-2010). She also was featured in the TV movie "Infestation" (Syfy, 2008-09). Most recently, Geffner acted on "Scandal" (ABC, 2011-).
