Derek Waring

Derek Waring (born Derek Barton-Chapple) was an English actor who is best remembered for playing Detective Inspector Goss in Z-Cars from 1969 to 1973. He was married to the actress Dame Dorothy Tutin.

They eventually spot the Doctor some distance away, but although they call out to him he doesn't recognize his own name.
