Music store owner Henry Baldwin was not only teenager Alex Wilson's boss but also the only person who really had faith in the young man. But on one fateful night, Alex makes the biggest mistake of his life when, in the process of stealing a guitar from the store, he accidentally shoots and kills Henry. Now, with the help of bookish Angel Ronald (Grey), Alex's temporary stay in juvenile detention and his love of music may offer some hope for the future. However, when the court orders Alex to serve life in prison without parole, the Angels must intervene before Alex's newfound hope is shattered forever.
