Dusty Hill

Dusty Hill brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. At the beginning of his Hollywood career, Hill had music featured mostly in comedies like "Dazed and Confused" (1993) with Jason London and Sasha Jenson, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III" (1993) with Elias Koteas and the Tim Allen blockbuster "The Santa Clause" (1994). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Hill's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Beverly Hills Ninja" (1997) with Chris Farley, the Bruce Willis hit action movie "Armageddon" (1998) and the action picture "Shanghai Noon" (2000) with Jackie Chan. His work was also in the Dwayne Johnson action film "Walking Tall" (2004). Hill's music was also featured in the Johnny Knoxville action flick "The Dukes of Hazzard" (2005), the Elijah Wood blockbuster animated adventure "Happy Feet" (2006) and the Steve Carell blockbuster comedy sequel "Evan Almighty" (2007). His music was also featured in the Nicolas Cage box office smash action film "Ghost Rider" (2007) and the Jack Nicholson adventurous drama "The Bucket List" (2007). Hill most recently appeared on "The 27th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" (HBO, 2011-12). Dusty Hill died on July 28, 2021 at the age of 72.
