A brutal murder in a tenement leaves a young black woman, once voted Most Likely to Succeed, dead and her shady crack-dealing boyfriend as suspect number one. Although Stone and Robinette have a solid case, the boyfriend refuses to plea bargain - which causes the ADAs and detectives to dig a little deeper into the woman's past.
