Eddie Jackson

Actor Eddie Jackson became best known for playing Belicho Paenymion on the sixth season of HBO's hit series "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-). Jackson was a relatively unknown actor when he was plucked from obscurity and cast in the role. Jackson made his screen-acting debut with an appearance in the short film "You're Only What I See Sometimes" (2008). He then wrote the script and starred in the 2012 short film "A House of Cards," before taking a small role on the historical series "Vikings" (History, 2013-) as a monk. The following year, Jackson landed a small role in his first film, "Gold" (2014), the story of a dysfunctional father who attempts to reconnect with his estranged children. Jackson continued in mostly small roles over the next couple years before breaking out in 2016 with a recurring role on HBO's "Game of Thrones" as the character Belicho Paenymion. With his acting profile on the rise, Jackson followed up his role on "Game of Thrones" with a supporting part in the holiday-themed movie "The Man Who Invented Christmas" (2017), playing a scam artist in the film about British author Charles Dickens, which starred Oscar winner Christopher Plummer.
